Soccer or football is the most exciting game that is being played internationally. It’s a complete 90 minutes of entertainment and excitement. In fact in is the most active and exciting game and it also needs teamwork. Though not all countries of the world participate in the Football world cup, it is played in almost every country of the world. Its popularity is still increasing. Personally it is my 2nd favorite game, the first being Table Tennis. I think that it’s really good for the body and is a good exercise. Playing a one hour football match everyday will be good enough to maintain your physique and health. Well, its popularity is increasing in many developing countries including India, Bhutan etc.

Well talking about soccer, I have an interesting thing to share with you. Playing soccer without Goal posts is not interesting though many people play it without goal posts. It is mainly because having a goal post is difficult as it needs to fix the post into the ground. But now there’s no need to play without goal posts. As portable Soccer Goals are available, you can carry the goal posts everywhere and play anywhere you like.

So, now, it won’t be a problem for soccer fans and they can play anywhere they like with the help of portable goal posts. Now, there will be no plays without goal posts and therefore, get your own portable goal posts.

India and Cricket!

Filed under: Cricket Fever,Events,Sports News — Ningsuhen @ 6:46 pm

Will India good enough for the next Cricket world Cup. In the 2007 world Cup, India couldn’t clear the Qualifying round. It was a disappointment to the people of India-a disappointment to 1,129,866,154 people. India is crowded with people who are fans of cricket. With a population of more than 1 billion people, they have high resources of man power. Also Cricket has been played by almost every child in India. In fact, Cricket is the most popular game in India. But still, India is far behind others in the game.

What may be the reason behind this backwardness? In my opinion, it may be of many reasons. The first that I’ll point out is lack of confidence. The Indian Cricket Team is known for lack of confidence for many years. Except in 80s when Kapil Dev and Ravi Shastri were on form, there was a time full of confidence. And in the year 1983, India won the World Cup. But after the Win, India seems to have been unable to reach that standard of confidence. Though in the year 2003, India reached the world Cup’s Final, The Final match was not a good match. There was a loss of confidence in the Indian Team.

Talking about Confidence, I like to focus on the way Indian teams break down if the openers fail. It seems like the whole Indian team has their hope on the few top openers and the rest feel just like a support. However, In the Australian team, I see consistency. Even if the openers get out early, the mid players and even the bowlers try to score and cope up their loss.

Secondly, the weakness of the Indian Cricket team is their weakness. Compared to the Australians and other cricket players, the Indian players are much weaker. If you compare Rahul Dravid with Ricky Ponting or Ganguly with Gilchrist, you will surely agree that Rahul Dravid is weaker and Ganguly is weaker. With the exception of their skills, the Australians will surely be far better than the Indian Team.

So, what do we expect from the Indian Team. And what will be their position in the World Cup 2011? These things depend on how they improve their skills and confidence and most importantly their strength.

Filed under: Cricket Fever,Events,Sports News — Ningsuhen @ 5:55 am

Finally India has won the 3rd ODI with South Africa and hence also the Series. In the match that held yesterday the 1st of July 2007, Yuvraj made a score of 59 runs (not out) taking India to a score of 152 against South Africa’s score of 149 runs. Yuvraj also made a good performance on the 2nd ODI with a score of 49 runs.
The score board is shown in India Vs South Africa 3rd ODI Results

Indian Captain Rahul Dravid was pleased with the team’s series-win over South Africa in the Future Cup at Belfast and also Yuvraj for his exceptional performance in the Series. In fact, this was India’s first series-win outside the subcontinent since 2002 when they beat England. So, I expect a warm welcome for the players in India when they return Home.
