Diego Maradona is known by all of us. He is a legend of football. He was awarded the title of “FIFA player of the century” in 2000. He was the idol of many people till he was finally tested positive of cocaine. Even though he has stopped playing, he is still in minds of millions. Every fan of football knows him and it’s true that he is really the legend of football.

Now, after a few years fans of football have experienced another player like Maradona. He is also a player of Argentina and is famous for the Hand of God. Just like Maradona did, He went for a goal with his hand in the match against Espanol. The way he hit the ball with his hand was so thoughtful and was just like Maradona did. The part of the match showing him hit the ball can be seen in my other post- Maradona’s Hand of God.

If you see the video, you will surely agree what I have been talking about. So, we all know about Messi and his expertise in football. Now, the question is whether he will be like Maradona getting famous into the world of football or just become a normal footballer. The answer depends on how he handles the situation and what he has got. If he is just a player who’s been praised by people because of an incident similar to that of Maradona, it might also be possible that he will be no more than himself. However, it’s believed that Maradona himself told the public that Messi will one day become player like him. So, Let’s hope Sir Maradona’s right and hope the best for Messi.
